About UsCamp Dragonfly is a Bergen-Record-featured program for children who express a passion for theatre and the desire to grow as actors. We invite you to join us this year and see your child grow his or her abilities as a young performer
Christian "CJ" Jerkovich and Myriam Burger founded Camp Dragonfly in the summer of 2008, and have since grown the program into a rigorous youth theatre company based in Ridgewood, New Jersey. They have designed the program to offer authentic acting training in the spirit of fun. What sets us apart from other programs is we take the time to focus on teaching professional acting techniques. As young actors ourselves, we know from experience that many childrens' theatre programs disregard this, and instead focus solely on making the final production “look good.” Our belief is that young actors should be taking the time to learn professional technique. |
